Cos he hasnt proved anything. Pacquiao was already 5weight world champion and still people felt like he hasn't proved anything until he faced Dela Hoya.
You become a legend when you beat up a legend. THATS A HARD FACT IN BOXING BUSINESS. You have to take that torch.
Dela Hoya did that to Julio Cesar Chavez
Mayweather and Pacquiao took that torch from Dela Hoya.

PACQUIAO HAD ONE FIGHT AT 135 AND MOVED UP TO 140.
PACQUIAO HAS BEEN OLD FOR QUITE SOME TIME
THE LAST TIME HE WAS AT HIS PRIME WAS AT 32 YEARS OLD
BUT THOSE WHO BEAT HIM AFTER HIS PRIME STILL GET CREDIT:
-Bradley has had a great career after that win against Pac.
-Marquez was considered the most legendary mexican fighter by his countrymen
-Mayweather cemented his legacy after having Pacquiao in his resume no matter the circumstances
-Horn quickly got celebrity status in Australia and his fight with Pacquiao was seen by the whole world.
Even Crawford still wants that Pacquiao fight smh. He's already said that he wants Mikey.Cos he hasnt proved anything. Pacquiao was already 5weight world champion and still people felt like he hasn't proved anything until he faced Dela Hoya.

Does Mike want Loma problems though is the question.
Your saying that if Last ma fights and beats Manny it would be his best victory?Comment

He says, she says. Mikey too has been wanting that fight so bad. But instead going with whats available for him which is a suicidal fight with Spence. Mikey is not afraid of anyone. Until Loma really tells Bob that he wants to make that fight happen, it wont happen.
IF Loma beats Pac, it may or may not be his greatest victory, but it will definitely be a foundation to Loma's potentially legendary career.
That's how legends happen.Comment

He is absolutely right. Loma doesn't need Pacquiao at all, and if he beats him now it won't mean anything anyway. It would be about as important as Danny Garcia's wins over Morales and Kosta Tszyu win over Chavez. I'm glad Lomachenko is focusing on fighting the best guys in his own era.Comment

Alright let me clarify it for you, Lomachenko is saying Manny is passed it and doesn’t need Manny to solidify his career. He’s also saying that he’s so far ahead of Manny that even if he did dominate pacquiao it would just tarnish pacquaio’s career as if everything pacquaio did in the past didn’t matter and the result wouldn’t benefit Lomachenkos career at all.
If a legend says he wants to fight you but you respond like that then that’s straight up disrespect. At least that’s how I would interpret it.Comment

Great post! That's why I don't rate a lot of Canelo wins or think dgarcia resume is all that impressive.Jesus some of you guys and your bs.
Lomachenko doesnt want to build a resume based on faded stars and names like all these frauds now a days do.
Look at Mayweather or Canelo. Look at all the names of the faded stars on their resumes. A fighter in his late 30s or even 40s ffs is not remotely even the same fighter they were in their prime.
You can not even debate that and you already have excuses lined up if they they exceed your expectation. There is no difference between rigo and Pac. Its the exact same fight. Loma moves up to beat an old faded pac. It means nothing because the fight we would have wanted was two prime guys.
Last year most of you guys wrote off pac until he won a "regular " title. A regular title ffs! He just got beat by jeff horn for crying out loud and has knocked out nobody (other than former regular titleholder lucas) in like a decade!
So these are them *******s everyone talks about. Jesus.
He needs that mikey fight soon though so. They're not getting any younger.Comment
