Fury wouldve thrown 5 punch shots after the jab instead of backing up after a combo sequence. It was their game plan to punch in spurts and avoid in close fighting. Had Fury stepped to Wilder and attacked from the get go, behind his jab Wilder was done. Fury also stood in distance just looking at times ,he would have jabbed wilders head off the entire time, but im not his trainer.

in short Davison said reapidily to slow down at the wrong times. Even when Davison was telling him to hold after the 12th round knockdown ,Tyson ignored him finally and out boxed Wilder attacking him, imagine had he fought with the same urgency from round one when hes fresh ?

Edit : I think Davison has done well putting Furys overall attack better with better punch technique and angles to get more power ,so hes done good.
Good post, I agree if Fury was more aggressive early, he probably gets Wilder out of there early.

Fury's biggest enemy is himself, in that if he actually steps on the gas and lets his hands go with the intention of ending a fight early, who can really stop him? No one has the defense in the division except maybe Wlad / Ortiz to slow him down, and Wlad ate a blowout loss. Fury sometimes falls in love with his own dominance and it allows guys to hang in there longer than they need to.

I was very vocal before the first fight about how if Fury takes the fight inside, he can destroy Wilder because Wilder won't know what to do with a determined and enraged Fury sitting in his chest letting his hands go. Wilder would lose his cool and throw the few fundamentals he does have out the window and would get stopped eating a straight right, left, or hook as he tries to back pedal out of trouble because Fury knows how to throw in movement and can keep assaulting him as he tries to move from one side of the ring to the other. Especially because Wilder doesn't know how to move economically or smartly and he will be readable, for the common man in the crowd, never mind a ring wizard like Tyson Fury.

As I said before, you guys are too rough on Wilder, remember he said after the fight that he had a broken arm, cancer and was pregnant too!

Fury is going to beat Wilders ass in the rematch. Might make him quit.

Wilder lacked idea in that match. He came out strong in 12 cos that's his only chance of winning or securing a draw. His team must have told him he's down on the card so he came all out like a wounded lion.

Fury's over confidence in 12 cost him greatly.
Nice match but fury needs to add some pop to his power.

He has pop when he sits down on his punches, he just tends to punch while moving or bouncing.

Schwarz is a hungry lion neither AJ nor Wilder would be willing to face, he deserves credit for risking the lineal title.
