On par with some of the worst UFC cards? No, there have been multiple UFC cards in the 100k range this year and some in the low 200s.

Four PPVs broke the 1 million mark the last 18 months. Great, those four PPVs involved Canelo/McGregor/Mayweather. Those are literally the biggest stars in the game right now.

Cotto/Margarito outsold it? WOW!!!!!! Cotto one of the biggest draws of his generation that did over a million PPV buys like four or five times in his career??? That Cotto??? What a shame that a fight involving him out did Wilder/Fury.

So are you going to ignore how much the fight would have generated in the UK and the live gate? If it took place in Vegas as expected, it would have done over $10 million at the gate, would have done close to, if not surpass a million PPV buys in the UK, made ton in international revenues/sponsorships and would have done close a million PPV buys. It didn't need to do 1.4 million to get Joshua his $50 million.

It was expected people like yourself were going to dog the numbers of this fight.
Im not going to disagree or argue with you. But you do know UFC has a TON of PPVs per year right?

Glaser is best taken with a pinch of salt, right?
I remember reading an interview in which he said that he sends out emails asking people if they will be ordering a PPV as part of his process.

I have no real idea how reliable he his, but in NSB terms...he's a good source if he's talking good numbers for a guy you like, or poor numbers for a guy you dislike.

They do, I believe 10-12 a year. However, that still doesn't matter that I was wrong with what I said.

Just some buy rates from 2018:

          UFC 221 130,000
          UFC 222 260,000
          UFC 224 85,000
          UFC 225 250,000
          UFC 227 300,000
          UFC 228 130,000
          UFC 330 250,000

So tell me where I was wrong? On par with some of the worst UFC cards? In what way? Really didn't need to mention UFC 227 as that is comparable to the Wilder/Fury PPV, but you get my point.

We are not talking about how much it WOULD HAVE generated in the UK or Vegas. We are talking about how much WILDER DID generate in LA in his PPV without AJ, and it's not impressive reading. AJ MUST be the draw if he was going to make $50m to Wilders $12m for this fight v Fury.

How exactly is that not wrong when I backed it up with facts and showed cards just THIS year that have done much worse numbers?

Now all I can think of is Chisora when Haye hit him with that bottle, "He glassed me, mate!"
