Povetkin looked like garbage when forced to be clean. Ortiz had his own issues with PEDs but he still looked like a legit badass when tested.

Povetkin was ahead in most people's opinions when Joshua knocked him out. I don't know how you can say he looked like garbage.

He did stop Allen and dropped scott twice I think very easy wins tbf

And Ortiz stopped something like 8 of his last 9 before wilder so I would he looked impressive

Povetkin without a doubt. Him and Joshua have the best resumees in HW division.

This. Kauffman is truly awful and Povetkin would hurt him.

I would say they are about equally good with the edge to Povetkin for beating more top 20 fighters. Neither of them have ever beaten a top 10 heavyweight. Both were KOed when they fought for a world title.

Povetkin is more accomplished but at this point, Ortiz beats him.

Ortiz is fresher and currently better imo. Though Povetkin isn’t too far behind.

Ortiz is old but because he has struggled to get top opponents in the ring, he isn’t too battle worn.

Povetkin still has all the Povetkin moves, but they look a little tired. As expected in the Joshua fight he brought a little extra and it showed, but still by the mid rounds he was slowing badly.

And Ortiz has been looking in top form? Povetkin looks better against better opposition than Ortiz does fighting the worst fighters the division has to offer.
