Promoter Eddie Hearn is still trying hard to get Amir Khan in the ring with his domestic rival, Kell Brook. Brook returns on Saturday night in Sheffield, against top rated contender Michael Zerafa. It was believed that Khan and Brook would collide in the first quarter of 2019, but now that plan is in jeopardy after Khan was offered a $5 million guarantee to face Terence Crawford for the WBO welterweight title on March 23 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Also Hearn doesn’t make any money if khan fights Crawford instead as he doesn’t have the promotional rights to khan in the US per dan Rafael and Keith Idec. That would hurt him as he over paid khan for his two warm up fights in the hope of the brool fight being the 3rd.

If Khan wins against Crawford which I am going to bet he does if the odds are super crazy..... Khan will never fight Brook because Hearn couldn't pay him enough to fight him. He will then fight PBC fighters on PAY per View, Spence, Thurman, Porter, Etc... If he loses against Crawford he will fight a bum win and then fight Brooks at a catch weight and make the same amount of money as he is now.... Hearn the dumb one signing a fighter to a contract but only in UK... when all the big fights are in US... he gave him money to fight two lower level fighters and then cant promote him in the big fights... just bad business.
