David weighs 209 the big friendly giant weighed 260.. an has 2 inch height advantage.. yet.. the smaller david is considered a bum.. but almost decapitates the giant with a rock from that slingshot just before sundown. whoa whoa whoa there sunshine, lol. I may not be 175lbs like I was in my early 20's but I'm still about 185lbs at 6ft, so not fully embracing the middle-age spread just yet.
My point was that almost all fighter's go up in weight as they get older not down. The body adapts and bones grow in density to withstand extra weight, which in turn pushes weight up still further. Add into the matter that Wilder is 6'7", looks muscular (apart from his legs) and it just does not seem right that he weighs in at just 209lbs.

The extra weight is of no benefit to Fury its all excess. But how do you justify Fury moving around the ring looking like willie pep compared to you. Although Fury don't punch his weight, he moves amazing for a man his size.

50lbs heavier than your opponent in a fight is a major advantage, you could see Fury laying on him at every opportunity he was using the weight in every clinch to try and tire Wilder.

I thought Fury won but there is no denying the weight difference has got to play a role, if you put another 50lbs bodyweight onto Wilder in the 12 round Tyson may not get up.

The size and weight helped Tysons resistance no doubt about it.
