Reiss is a top ref and he seemed to get the count correct. Also, Fury was fine to continue and even backed Wilder up a bit. Credit to Fury, and to Wilder for getting a knockdown in the last round, but he can be faulted for not being able to finish Fury off.

Essentially Wilder feels entitled to help from the Referee just like the kind of Referee help he received in the Luis Ortiz fight. Wilder really has a victim's mentality. It's pretty sad for a Heavyweight Champion.

If he ever has the guts to come to the UK to fight Joshua, and Joshua knocks him down, he better not complain when the Referee waves it off.

You forgot to mention that when AJ is the 1 down those exact same refs give him every benefit of the doubt imaginable yet his opponents aren't even given a full count, like the klit fight he shouldn't have been allowed to continue if the same criteria had been used as what was used to not let klit continue.

It's true but I find it weird that they couldn't pretend to be offended by draw.? I mean they know cameras in them

Lmao the same people here saying he made the right call are the same one who didn't have a problem with the ref stopping the AJ takam fight,or none of the early stoppages AJ has gotten, you guys are so full of it,and he's right most refs would have stopped it when his head hit the mat and he laid there, doesn't matter if he got up and fought after, people keep doing things with concussions all the time,he got lucky Jack reiss was the ref and not Richard steele

If he rematches Fury, he will most likely lose this green belt for good. He visibly lost a lot of confidence following this fight while Fury gained a ton.

P.S. Wilder should have fought AJ, he would stand a greater chance of winning and would have earned in one fight what he would earn in two with Fury. He'll beat himself up for the rest of his life for this ****** decision after he loses the belt to Fury.

To me the fanboys are the ones refusing to entertain the idea that the way they saw it isn't gospel.

Just like 9 out of 10 refs would have waived the fight, 8 out of 10 judges would have Fury winning. Guess what we got Saturday night! That 1 ref and those 2 judges.
well said, just saw the fight, the count was tiny bit long but not like the exaggerated long count that wilder saw. i saw fury winning. imo. but wow, fury was lazaris. he woke up from a good sleep.
