Someone needs his afternoon bottle and nap.

Truth is, Fury was fortunate the ref didn't stop it.

That's what usually happens when someone lies motionless for so long.

I am truly glad the ref let it go.

We got to see a classic.

And hopefully, we will get to see it again.

But, make no mistake, the draw was right.

I saw a whole lot of idiots giving Fury rounds simply for surviving them and clowning a bit in the ring.

Nice try, but in rounds where so few shots are landed, the hardest punches usually win the day.

And most of those most of the time where thrown and landed by Wilder.

Learn how to score a fight before you start throwing around insults, son.

Wilder lost almost every single round. He didn't win 5 rounds and if you want to argue, the 12th round could probably be viewed as a 10-9 round for Wilder. You need a knockdown and to win the round to get 10-8. I bet you probably didn't even know that did you?

Like I said, YDKSAB. If you persist you'll end up on my ignore list which is the biggest on the site.

See, that's how I know you are a fanboy and a casual.

              You're a parrot.

You're regurgitating something you've heard because it fits those feelings you caught about the fight.

              Not a good look, son.

It takes an overwhelmingly one-sided round to get it scored 10-9 after you've been knocked down.

That's boxing 101, the 10-point must system for idiots: you knock a guy down, it's 10-8 unless you took a whipping pretty much every other second of the round.

That isn't what happened in the 12th.

What happened is we thought Deontay murdered Tyson for a second.

Then we saw Wilder try to close the show for another segment of the round- Fury won none of those parts. Then, we did see Tyson rally back and score good punches, none of which had Deontay in any trouble. Wilder did cover up because he was gassed trying to finish Fury but didn't. Wilder didn't lose "every other second" of the round, far from it. The knockdown itself plus the attempt to finish-that segment which was more dominant than any other- was enough to win him the round. Hence, Wilder round 10-8.

And as far as losing every round, that's more of your fanboy showing.

Fury landed in single digits most rounds, and most rounds it was Wilder landing the harder shots- albeit even fewer total shots than Fury. Clean effective punching- what is the emphasis in this sport- means a few good punches can win a round over a larger volume of them if the larger volume are lighter shots.

In other words, if you are only landing a few shots per pound and yours are by far the lighter punches, the guy landing the bigger ones can get the round EVEN IF HE LANDS LESS.

Obviously, that happened in at least 5 of the rounds.

Some folks thought it happened more often than that, some thought it happened less.

I can have an intelligent conversation with anyone who had a score of 114-112 or anything in between for either guy.

This is a concept you clearly don't understand which is why you think the fight was such a runaway, which it was not.

Tell you what tho, since you are this scoring expert.

Why don't you reference 5 or 6 big fights where a knockdown was scored, yet the round was judged 10-9?

You are so sure that's how it goes, it shouldn't be a problem, should it?

              Schools out, kid.

Might be a pop quiz later tho...

Yeah, I thought this is how you would react.

You are in denial, you know that, right?

Feel free to let me know when you actually have something ral to say.

And again, if that bullcrap you are trying to float about 10-8 rounds being scored 10-9 is true, you'd have quite a few references where it happened.

                  It's very rare.

And it takes a round much, much better than any Fury had that night.

But, you believe what you like.

Seems to be the norm around here these days anyway, fanboy.

Yet it is you who can't explain your own take or back up what you say.

Again, if getting the crapped knocked out of you, then surviving the round landing pitty pat in single digits earns you the point back, you should be able to show it.

                      You can't, because it doesn't.

So act childish all you like, it won't change anything.

You are on timeout til you come up with facts.
