For Atlas' induction speech the first rows will have to bring umbrellas to protect themselves from the spitting.

Happy to see DeMarco get in while he's still alive. He's now the oldest living (boxer) member of the hall ahead of Eder Jofre.

I don't agree with the inclusions but applaud them all on getting the recognition and they should all feel proud.

I think Gilberto Roman is long overdue and Rafael Marquez should have made it. I suspect he'll make it next year with his brother and for certain that will be my first trip to Canastota.

I wouldn't have considered mcgirt hall of fame material but ironically, if you compare his career to someone he trained in Arturo Gatti, mcgirt has a strong argument to get in. Matter of fact, I could probably make a good argument that Mayorga should get in when you compare him to Gatti.

Every Hall Of Fame is a joke to begin with, and that includes boxing.

That Gatti one ruin the whole thing. It really did.

Not a knock on McGirt but both G Roman and R Marquez accomplished more in this sport.
