He obviously should be more known than Joshua over there.

I've felt for the longest time Fury would be more popular in the US than the UK so this isn't no surprise doe. Give him a couple more fights here & he'll be more popular/known than Wilder. Sh^t he's probably more popular than Wilder now, just not as known quite yet.

America loves outgoing personalities like Fury. Fury will probably be in jail this time next year in the UK for saying some sh^t on twitter thats been deemed illegal. He needs to bring his ass here quick.
100% this. I said during his hiatus that when he comes back, the American boxing world would embrace him. He’s exactly what’s loved over here. He’s way more popular than Joshua, and id argue he’s the most popular heavyweight in America right now, if not, he’s tied with wilder.

Also can’t help but notice there’s some UK fans in here answering the question...saying he’s not known...like they’d know.

He will now. Many Americans are boxing fans waiting to happen. Fury's antics outside the ring and crazy humor will attract more fans than if he had a lot of power. I hope the rematch happens right away but if they wait, I hope he stays a bit so they can market him.

"He’s exactly what’s loved over here." Brit here. I agree with you. You love cringeworthy stuff like batman suits and famous people who spout complete bull**** - you elected one of those.
Too bad boxing is dying on it's arse stateside. A HW world title fight and the champ is your guy, and you have to give free tickets away to 'almost' fill up a little arena. AJ would destroy that cherrypicker Wilder in no time, and if he hurts Fury he will finish him - he's a better finisher than Wilder. Who would want to fight there nowdays anyway. Khan (Peterson), Kovalev (Ward 1) and now Fury have all been absolutely robbed there. It's a f%&*%$g disgrace.

By boxing fans or general america?

Personally I used to think Fury was an annoying twat and I was predicting an easy KO for wilder. I was not impressed by his two comeback fights. Then in the month or two before the fight, he grew on me and Im amused by his antics and I also could see him winning the fight as long as he was similar to his Wlad fight 3 years ago, realized wilder would have the same struggles fighting a guy with his head mostly out of range and wilder like wlad also doesnt go to the body much.

General public? Nobody knows who the *** he is. nobody at work talked about his fight. Last time anyone at work talked about boxing was Floyd-McGreggor and thats because it was mega hyped and on the cover of ESPN ect.

Americans have short term memories ,to make it over here takes consistency. Yea he's had his moment but no one even knows Wilder and he's fights here . When Joshua defeated Klitschko it lasted awhile because he went around doing talk shows and media . Wilder will never be mainstream here because he don't have a pleasing skills to watch 12 rounds and he comes off annoying, the crowd was literally booing him as he walked to the ring , no wonder he doesn't venture much outside Barclays center.

I guess I'm closing you won t see a very popular HW unless they're in the news 24/7 , that's neither guys . I would say Whoever gets a hold of all the belts will be that guy .

So hateful over a fight that never even happened. Fury bailed out, and the 18,000 firemen went home sad after watching Wilder vs Breazele

Fury is everything a sports personality should be. In England however we seem to like really bland people with no personality like Joshua, or people that aren't really sportsman like rowers and such silly things. Quite sad really.

His popularity seems to have skyrocketed, particularly among the dad bod demographic.
