Referee gave fury way too much attention after knock down he gave him a wake up call (screaming on top with a countdown ) and 10 second walk off after

I honestly thought the ref did the right thing by not stopping it.

I timed him up a bit after 9 but before 10.

Remember you don't count 1 when he hits the canvas. He has to be down for 1 second before you count 1.

Even if Fury had gotten another second, it wouldn’t have been a big deal to me. Happens all the time. Humans aren’t machines, and refs aren’t precision stopwatches. I honestly don’t get where this 12 (or more) second thing came from. Even with the naked eye it’s clear it’s not so. Goes to show how easy it is for someone to start rumors and many will believe them.

Mmmm...I don’t know about that. The ref did what he was supposed to do: make sure the fighter really was in condition to continue. He was determining if the Fury was coherent and able to acknowledge directions. Tyson reacted appropriately and the fight was promptly allowed to continue. Nothing out of the ordinary here. No extraneous time allowed.

Yeah, it was definitely close for sure. I’m glad Reiss didn’t waive the fight off since Fury deserved a chance to get up. He could have easily called it off.

Not sure if you agree particularly but I personally had the fight a draw or a Fury win. I keep saying I think a lot of people are not thinking about those early rounds since people only remember the KO rounds & the rounds Fury was dominating in the middle of the fight. But Wilder quietly won a few rounds in the beginning which got him to squeak by with the draw. That 115-111 card in favor of Wilder was bs though. At best for Wilder it was 113-113 or it could have been 114-112 for Fury. I think 115-111 for Fury is too wide as well.

I think a draw for this was fair as I too thought Wilder eeked out some early rds.
People saying this was bad like GGG v Canelo I draw is whack. There GGG won 8 or 9 rds. clearly.

I had predicted a Wilder KO. I write it could even be in the last rd.
Came within a second. Rematch should be even better.
