Comments Thread For: Wilder's Manager Has No Problem Discussing Joshua Fight

Shelly Finkel says Deontay Wilder is "very interested" in facing Anthony Joshua in a heavyweight unification fight after retaining his WBC belt courtesy of a contentious draw against Tyson Fury. Wilder twice knocked down Fury but otherwise struggled against the Briton, who believed he should have won and was outraged with the judges' controversial failure to separate the pair.

Love him or hate him, Wilder is finally in a position of power for negotiating.
AJ & Fury paydays await him.
It's like the poor performance Saturday was the best thing for him.

We've seen Eddie work. He makes all sorts of sucking sounds. Please, just come up with a decent offer. Where Wilder doesnt settle for less today and more tomorrow.

Smart move a rematch with Fury can cost him $15 to $20 million dollars

Easier fight than Fury. I was very impressed with Fury's boxing for a very tall guy. Joshua is easier to chase and hit but Joshua carry a big punch too. It's who landed a bigger punch first. WAR!

"Keep it private" he's got some bloody cheek after his very PUBLIC 50 mil offer and request for AJ & Hearn to PUBLICLY accept the principle of the offer and PUBLICLY slandering every offer received from Hearn before he responds to him.

Oh well whatever gets this fight made I suppose.

I think its lost its gloss would rather see aj v fury or wilder fury rematch wilders now behind dillian whyte in my rankings hes got nothing about him but a good punch the other big hype job in the division showed is the clear flaws in wilders game and a fighter who hasnt fought in 3 years lost 10stone quit ale and drugs and stil schooled him i doubt wilder beats chisura solid chin parker dolid chin or povektein rank him same as pulev now stock dropped massively

good move. i think wilder will do better v AJ than Fury as he could not time (well he did twice) fury's rhythm. he needs to cash in on AJ before a rematch with Fury.
