Fury Has Been Knocked Down 4 Times Over 4.5 Active Years In His Last 12 Fights

Over a 7 year span, which includes a 2 and a half year period of inactivity, Fury fought 12 times and was knocked down against Pajkic in 2011, Cunningham in 2013 and Wilder twice in 2018. That's 4 knockdowns in his last 12 fights, over what was really 4 and a half years of active ring time.

    KO Ratios
    Wilder 95%
    Cunningham 33%
    Pajkic 28%

Just an interesting fact. Not sure if it suggests a low punch resistance (although great powers of recovery) and hence a natural inclination to use a heavily defensive style?

Dude is 260 lbs with a huge head. he has massive weight advantage on Cunningham and Wilder.... He's not tough for his weight at all.

Wilder is much tougher than him. 210 lbs and bullying him and knocking him spark out.

It's heavyweight boxing, fighters get dropped by these shots.

The fact he gets up and still seems solid is all that matters

Bingo! Recovery and recouping skills are much more important than the chin itself. I mean you have Mayweather who has been rocked a few times but recovered very quickly. Marquez has been dropped a gazillion times yet he recovers so quickly, same with Trinidad.

And man Wilder is going to drop damn near anyone if he catches them flush. So does that even count?

It would mean more if he wasn't a heavyweight. 200+ pound men landing a punch has a huge potential to make people fall

From a statistical pov i think the wilder kd's should be discounted heavily seeing that wilder would have KO'd/KD'd 99% of heavyweights on saturday.

And he still pushed Wilder **** in and won the crowd and has 100% of the population knowing he won.
