Crawford is the more skilled fighter and an equal resume some would say. Yet, he has not been able to reach the superstar status like Wilder has? Isn't his due to marketing, lack of personality, or has Wilder just been more dominant throughout his career compared to Crawford?
Why isn't Crawford a bigger star than Wilder?

Wilder himself isn't a superstar and to use him to measure crawford's fame is laughable. Crawford needs bigger names now, in all his previous weight class nor of his opponents were marquee names. And the fact that 3 of the other beltholders are on the "Other side of the street" at welterweight might not help him neither.Comment

Crawford will never become a star with Top Rank unfortunately. PBC is a viable entity long-term now and all the big opponents for Crawford are over there.Wilder himself isn't a superstar and to use him to measure crawford's fame is laughable. Because he fights nobodies
The same could have been said for Wilder but he has stepped it up lately and got more exposure.
It's not rocket science. Fight better known opposition = get more popularity.Comment

It's no coincidence that Wilder fights another Top 3 guy in his division and what do you know, now he's more popular then ever. Amazing..Comment
