George could hit so hard back then that he could have hit you so hard that your damn **** would turn into a *****.
      funny ****.

too many people are in love with the past. foreman was a goddamn monster, but, like any fighter, he is beatable. ali took a beating, but finished him off. jimmy young beat him - man that was a crazy fight. holyfield, morrison, etc.

lewis, klitschko(vitali particularly), are more modern day fighters that would certainly have a good chance in my book.

marciano could've, a prime joe louis could've, jack johnson could've. i could name more, but i hope you see my point.

even though foreman lost to ali, this doesn't mean that george could not beat ali. boxing is not cut and dry. it's not mathematics.

I was a bit odded out by the Howard Stern intro music by Rob Zombie in te first video. The sound itself fits, until I can't help but think of the Howard Stern show.

        Cool vids though.

I pick 2 fighters over Marciano.

          Cassius Clay, and George Foreman.

Why Cassius Clay? Because the Cassius Clay that beat Sonny Liston is the greatest fighter of all time.
Any heavyweight, any era, didn't stand a chance.

The Foreman that fought Ali, even though he lost, would have stopped Marciano on cuts, no way was Marciano getting KO'd, he'd die in the ring if he had to.

Nah, the Ali that fought Cleveland Williams was better than the one who fought Liston.

The Clay that absorbed the punishment from George Chuvalo would beat Marciano.

                  I think Clay/Ali from 1964 - 1975 would beat Marciano.

rocky is waaay overrated, made his career with 2 wins against an old archie moore, a WELL past done louis and old man walcott, anyone remember walcott decking rocky in the 2nd i beilve with a left hook? Ali woulda did that all night and id love to see rocky flying half way across the ring after george hits him

I'd say 1964-1967 he would have made easy work of Marciano.
1970-1975 he wouldn't have danced 15 rounds and made Marciano look silly, he would have absorbed alot of punishment in the later rounds.
