Comments Thread For: Warren: We Want Wilder-Fury Rematch, But It Should Be In UK

LOS ANGELES It'll ultimately be up to Deontay Wilder to decide whether a rematch with Tyson Fury will be his next fight. Fury and promoter Frank Warren would welcome that second chance to fight for Wilder's WBC heavyweight title. If it happens, though, they want Wilder to face Fury somewhere in the United Kingdom next time.

Now it would definitely sell out a football stadium in the UK. BUT Wilder doesn't want to get humiliated infront of such a big crowd on foreign soil and without corrupt judges. Wilder says that he fights around the world but not this time.

"Fury and promoter Frank Warren would welcome that second chance to fight for Wilder’s WBC heavyweight title. If it happens, though, they want Wilder to face Fury somewhere in the United Kingdom next time.

Warren mentioned Wembley Stadium or Aresenal’s Emirates Stadium, both located in London, as potential sites for a Wilder-Fury rematch during their post-fight press conference Saturday night at Staples Center. Wherever it takes place, there will be more demand for Wilder-Fury II than their first fight due to the fascinating nature of their 12-round split draw, in which Fury overcame two devastating knockdowns."

Shelley Finkel! Send the paperwork...ASAP! 50/50 split, fight is in London The only question is when? Showtime has a PPV in March. Joshua is fighting TBA in April. We know Canelo owns May! February is too close! June is too far!

It would never happen in the UK. They cant cheat as easily in the UK. Franks got more chance getting the decision of the 1st fight overturned and theres no chance of that either.

Honestly I hope Deontay learns something from the first fight and learning how to set up his combinations and learning how to cut off the ring. He really needs a new trainer, idk what they are doing in training camp I really don't know.

The rematch happens in March but in the States. Wilder doesn't have to rematch but he will as long as the fight is in the States.
