I thought of that Canelo-Golovkin fight when I heard the result, but this one was worse. Fury schooled the guy and was flat out robbed. He won nine rounds in that fight and even in the knockdown rounds there were moments where he got the best of Wilder.
For Wilder's co-manager to say what he said nearly solidifies the thought that they had no intentions of having Wilder fight Joshua. They knew that he would lose badly to AJ so they tried to get Fury from his supposed state and I would say that it nearly backfired on them but both Finkel and Warren collaborated to have this take place.
