Was anymore said about the possible "wildcard" opponent for AJ in April?

Can't be team Fury, they're on their way back or are back and they could do that in England anyway, so it'd make no sense.

I can see Wilder and AJ happening in April. Wilder's team know they had a lucky escape. Now they're going to roll the dice for big money v AJ because they know Wilder can lose that belt for much less money elsewhere.

        Nothing at all.

There was a wildcard and a real wildcard. Implying 2.

I think the wildcard is Usyk, in the sense he has no fight at HW yet, but i can see Hearn trying to talk him into the fight in April because he's red hot off the back of beating Bellew in a big PPV.

The bigger wildcard i think is Wlad. He seems to have flirted with the idea of a comeback. People said it might be Ward, i'm not sure. But i'm guessing Wladimir.

Actually Frank Warren said the other day that he thinks AJ and Usyk are in talks for April. He's actually pretty spot on when calling AJ's next fights. Obviously he gets inside information. Warren said he would be p1ssed off if he was Dillian Whyte, implying that they must be seriously considering Usyk instead of him and the ball is rolling.

Nah, lol. That interview it was mentioned, I'm of the opinion he had a big smile on his face because there was good signs for Joshua/Wilder happening in April.

I don't think Wilder's team will want anything to do with a Fury rematch

If it's Wilder, I could see him cashing out then being gone from the sport. Someone mentioned in another thread, Fury-Usyk would be an amazing contest in the meantime...

Yeah it would be great, but comes with the same difficulties as Fury/Joshua. Noones gunna be in a rush to fight Fury now, Charr could be realistic if he doesn't get stripped of the Regular

At least Hearn openly admitted that Fury won the fight, he deserves credit for that.

C'mon man! If Hearn ties Wilder up then won't let anyone else fight Fury, Fury should take Ortiz in Manchester. At this stage I think Fury could fight anyone in Manchester and fill out arenas/stadiums. Fury is the #1 now and the people have fell for him in a big way. If Hearn avoids him it will go bad for him and AJ.

He is honest now but will change his tune if Wilder v AJ happens. Then he'll start talking about how scoring is subjective etc..

Pretty sure he said GGG beat Jacobs until he started promoting Jacobs.

Well, that's his job i suppose.
