I disagree about his jab. His jab is good, albeit inconsistent. Certainly against those that move or are good counter punchers he gets a bit gun shy with it or is just flat out not as effective with it.

Shot selection when he is just loading up on the right hand is certainly suspect to say the least.

Because of his power and speed, he will always have a shot regardless of how bad he is getting out boxed. Any flush shot he lands is going to at the very least wobble you, if not put you down. Fury has over 40 pounds on him yet when Wilder lands clean, he went down.

But what the point of this thread? Are people actually saying Wilder is this great technician? Are people saying he is actually a great fighter?

Actually...I believe you meant "void". To be "devoid" of anything means you once had something...and now you don't so you are devoid of it.

Heavy hands and a good chin can take you very far in the Heavyweight division. Wilder does have power and his chin doesn't seem as bad as some people thought it was a few years ago, when it was a big question mark.

He had never looked that bad before though. Fighting top Heavyweights like Ortiz and even more so Fury has made his technical deficiencies very obvious.
