Are you up there in Quebec? or elsewhere in CA?

And I left out that if they plan to end the induced coma, it probably means, they expect him to breathe on his own. And they probably gauge that from improving brain scans.

So probably all involved saved his life by getting him to a good hospital who quickly drilled a hole in his skull to relieve the swelling/pressure.

I also here proposed new rules: After a KO to the head or suffering numerous head shots w.o. getting KOed, the fighter should be quickly brought to a hospital before he has serious symptoms. Every minute counts and it takes some minutes for the brain to swell to the point of serious symptoms sometimes.

Just before he took a shower, all the one Dr told him after examining him IIRC was to get an MRI within a week after flying away. If he flew away, might have passed on the plane.

Maybe there is a difference in the meaning of stable being that this was said post op for a brain hemorrhage.
That is true. They have said very little re surgery. Just that the trepanning occurred.

I think the press has been limited in revealing what's going on and also to play up the worst for sympathy due to his past and that many hate him. Maybe they fear people going to the hospital if you catch my drift.
So there has been a dearth of info and a slant of the story for more sympathy.

I just looked up Whittom, and he wasn't taken to the hospital till the next AM.
          Sad.

Them rule changes are a no brainer, i wonder how that would work in the u.s with the cost associated and the number of fight occurring weekly.

But he collapsed in the locker room he was not making it on a plane anyhow. They said a second doctor not in function for this fight is the one that made the call to take him to the hospital immediately, if he hadn't made that call would they have just stayed put hoping he just needed lay down for awhile ?

It may be a no brainer to you and I, but they're not doing it. Maybe due to $ maybe other things also.

Well IIRC he had started to vomit and felt bad.
So I would hope his people would have taken him to hospital even if no dr. rec'd.

Do you know the story of Magomed Abdusalamov?

A little sympathy never hurt anyone. Although it pisses me off that they made it so complicated to figure out, the way you explained it would have been just fine and the drilling a hole in his head could have been used to play up sympathy without having people wonder if he's going to end up like Mcclellan.

They are probably going to parade him around as proof of how great the Quebec hospital system is which it really isn't.

Well we can't be sure tll they end he coma/sedation.
But my hunch about that journalist/screenwriter I think was correct.

I know the PTB fear mass action. So maybe they tried too hard to evoke sympathy so people didn't try to go and do something at the hospital.

Press is totally controlled in all countries.

I just read a little on his wiki. That's pretty sad how that doctor didn't do his job right and now this man isn't the same. I hope he kept on improving since he received that 22 million.
