Actually rds.ca says that Stevenson "remains in stable condition". And this time it has the statement direct from the hospital and not Michel's tweet. "CHU de Québec-Université Laval reported in early afternoon on Monday."

So the worst may be over for him now.

I know they just changed it. In the video the guy still says that the choice of words is important and that they feel that he is moving towards being stable and that it's too early to say that is life is out of danger. It does not make sense something shady as hell going down unless this is a last minute statement from the hospital.

I did not see the earlier one.
This one says afternoon or PM, so the latest I guess.

I didn't see any video. Are you saying a hospital spokesman used those words "moving towards stable." That would be most strange as they are usually more rigorous and only give the current status and not what a pt is moving towards.

        ?

If you go on rds.ca and clic on ''l'état d'adonis demeure stable'' you can still see the other video on the right title ''la situation de Stevenson demeure critique'' meaning Stevensons situation is still critical.

Thanks. My French is poor now though. C'est dommage.

BTW, that video shows Stevenson sitting up on the stretcher as they wheel him, I presume, out of the arena.

The latest tweet from Michel contains the hospital press release. I can translate some of it. It includes that AD's status "remains stable." No moving towards, as Michel earlier tweeted, rather "remains" or stays was used.

Please please please please please please please please please be okay. I dont want anyone to suffer significant injuries or die in a boxing ring.
I wanted him to get KO'd too but I didn't want him to suffer this kind of trauma. I really hope he comes out of this without any significant damage but like you said, it's very unlikely that he'll be back to normal. I've been bothered by this news since it was reported. I wish Adonis well. I'm relieved to read that he's in stable condition but I hope he doesn't suffer from any long term, life altering damage.
