You don't know that, they guy that scored it 7-5 for Wilder had Wilder winning the early rounds. He was favoring Wilder's aggression because while Fury was boxing well he was inactive for long stretches and not doing that much punching. If someone was going to have Wilder ahead I could at least see their argument, it would be a tough argument to win but you could try.
As the fight wore on he was giving Fury more credit because he was doing more with his advantages.
Straight up the British judge would have had Fury winning without the knockdown in the 12th so he had Fury ahead going in.
So that is a really convenient argument to make because it can't be proven and it can change if needed.
