Could he have done more? Yes of course, but he had a very dangerous puncher infront of him.
How many fights did we see Floyd in where he was in 100% control, could have pushed for a stoppage if he wanted too, could have done more, but didn't.
Boxing isn't about could you have done more. Fury was smart enough to do what he needed too, so he would have the energy reserves in the later rounds to do something like get up from the monstrous knockdown.
And yes Fury fought a slow spoiling fight, but he also caught wilder with many head snapping 1-2 combinations right down the middle.
The only real punch Wilder landed all night were the ones that put Fury down.
I would dispute many head snapping punches, he did at times and in certain rounds did it enough to win those clearly. They were just few and far between with a lot of rounds rounds where ineffective aggression could be a deciding factor especially early on.
No risk no reward though, he needed to take a few more risks and it would have been clear he didn't which leaves it a lot murkier.
Fury definitely boxed better, made Wilder look bad. The fight I would compare it to is Froch-Dirrell where one guy did a bit but the other guy pressed the action but the guy that had the advantages didn't really press them and thus didn't get a result they could have had they just done a little bit more with what was available.
So like I said a draw was fair, but if someone has Fury winning that is fine I get it.Comment

Yes both fought like true champions. Wilder though only chance was to land a Hail Mary punch and he did. That’s why Fury should have tried to get him out of there when he had Wilder weakening. Play with fire too long and you get burned. Fury had enough working for him where I think he could have mounted a more serious offenseComment

Floyd normally did more clean punching than Fury did with right hand leads for example from range that landed clean and clear as day.

Nice dribbel.
1) Floyd is 100 pounds lighter and over a foot shorter.... he also hand-picked opponents.
2) all you guys arguing that it was close can't ever name the rounds you gave to Wilder other than the (closely contested) 9th and 12th. So let's hear it.... how did Wilder - assuming the 9th and 12th were 10-8 and not 10-10 rounds - score anything better than a 116-110 loss? Stop talking in circles and tell us what OTHER rounds he won, and how!Comment

1-5 are all close rounds and i believed I have said early rounds several times. They were like all the same and Fury didn't do that much as Wilder pressed the action. Neither landed much and Wilder was the aggressor that could get him the nod. I think round 8 (could have been 7) was similar in the amount of punches landed and Wilder probably landed the better punches. SO I will go rounds 1 and 3 based on what I said and he edged round 8.
7-5 draw really easy to do.Comment

What does point one have to do with anything.
