Did Tyson Fury Become a Star in America After Last Night?

I felt that was a break through performance on American soil and the way he handled himself post-fight and his story really reasonated with a lot of fans. I think he legit became a star last night. Even if he fights say Luis Ortiz in Brooklyn, he would sell the place out and do big SHO numbers.

Not really he's a star in the UK and his fan base has grown but he didn't dethrone a star.. No one knows Wilder in the US so it's not like he's going to take his fanbase.

Tyson's story is inspiring and all this celebs seem to live him and his story so he will become a house hold name soon enough.

One, let's stop with no one knowing Wilder.

Two, dethroning Wilder or not, he put on a hell of a performance in the fight and after the fight. And his story is inspirational and he's as good of a talker as anyone. To me this was a star making performance for Fury. What a guy.

Go watch the video where Tyson goes around asking Americans if they knew who Wilder was.. Out of over 20 only 2 knew him and both those guys knew Fury too.. Try asking someone in UK if they know Fury.. You'll struggle to find someone who doesn't know him. Of course ppl know Wilder but I think ppl in the US think if boxing fans know you that's enough.. In the general puplic know who AJ and Fury are even if they never watched boxing. It's called promotion.. Wilder lacks it.

When I say Americans don't know Wilder I mean they don't know him like they knew Mike Tyson

That's fine, but going outside and aaking people if they know who this guy or that guy in the states is irrelveant. Enough people know Wilder where he does over a million in viewership even on a network with limited subscribers. If no one knew who he was, then he wouldn't do 300k or whatever this fight did on PPV.
