  • Can the Wilder-Joshua winner still be considered the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion?

Tyson Fury won the lineal title from Wlad. Then, Anthony Joshua won Fury’s belts (except the lineal title) against an already defeated Wlad.

Wilder fought Tyson Fury to a draw, that most think Fury should’ve won.

Wilder and Joshua and their teams & networks have been promoting their eventual fight as the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship. With the winner receiving the vacant lineal title.

But if Wilder-Joshua happens next, and if there’s a definitive winner, could either of them really call themselves the Undisputed Lineal Champ without a win over Fury?

Only if Fury officially retires and relequishes that title.

Fury is, and has been the lineal champion. The kingpin. The boogieman of the division. The cash cow.

It really has, especially for Wilder who lost a lot of leverage tonight.

AJ is looking in a good position right now. Hearn must be loving it.

No man can call themselves the champion until they beat Tyson Fury. Simple.
