Comments Thread For: Wilder: With The Two Knockdowns I Definitely Won The Fight!

Deontay Wilder has retained his WBC heavyweight title after a split-decision draw with Britain's Tyson Fury in Los Angeles, leaving both fighters talking up a rematch. The hard-hitting Wilder knocked Fury down twice in Saturday's bout but the Briton controlled much of the fight behind his long jab and precise footwork while managing to mostly avoid the American's powerful overhand right.

Other than two rounds, it wasn't even close and even in those rounds Tyson won majority of the round other than the knock downs. Wasn't even close or debatable.

Fury should have been counted out in the 12th, it shouldn’t have even gone to the cards period. Dude was given 20 seconds in total to recover......

Also what major punch did Fury land on Wilder? Running around like a gypsy rat and occasionally landing a few slaps don’t win you a fight.

He got up and landed a right and a left that had Wilder backing off in the last 30 seconds.

Wilders on borrowed time. That strap belong around Fury’s waist.
