The fact is rounds 1,2, and 4 were close rounds. So were another 1 or 2. I didn’t give Wilder all those close rounds, but I came close to giving him 5 rounds. I had Fury winning 114-112, but it was a coin flip from 113-113 for me.

He easily won the fight and is the far more skilled boxer of the two.

With that said, I'm confused by people praising him for getting up from those punches. I don't feel like he should have gone down to begin with from either punch. The first one barely even grazed him and the second, while landing square, was nothing special and he bonked his head on the canvas from falling poorly. Many HWs would have simply eaten/ignored those shots.

I think his punch resistance is shot from how badly he's abused his body in the past few years. I worry about how many fights he's got left in him.

        overrated applies only to wilder.
he looked like an amateur in there.
almost non-existent jab, and mostly wild swinging hail mary shots.
seemed liked watching a street fight whenever wilder fights.

Fury with his gypsy rat style ran, ducked, made faces and made Wilder miss, but what did he do to Wilder himself?

Dude was laid out cold, should have been counted out, given a long 10 count plus ANOTHER 10 seconds after the count.

Fury was lucky to get a draw, and his fans have nothing to brag about.
The Fury fighting style totally sucks. I remember when Hughie lost that Parker fight all the samepeople cried robbery. Face it everyone's impressed with that goofy nonsense

fury way too slick for wilder, if the fury v wlad was there this would have been a walkinthepark

as it is its just a robbery, just like most of the time in these big fights

im shocked fury was able to do that with so little real prep for this fight, wtf, the guy is a FREAK

People need to understand boxing is scored round by round.

Let me break it down for the Wilder fans:

Imagine the LA Lakers are up by 10 points for example and the other team scores two great half court shots and then the game ends. They other team may have done the two most impressive things in the game but in the end, no matter how good it looked, they still didn't score enough points to make them game level or win.

Fury kept avoiding committing to the rematch knows he could have died last night lol. Who knows if he even fights again

Fury was lucky to wake up and beat the long count I mean count. End of story.

i thought the posts after the fight would be all about discrediting Wilder for beating a guy who hasn't had a good fight in nearly 3 years

unreal how you are downplaying a guy coming back from the brink of suicide and over 400lbs in weight in 12 months to put on a performance like that Wilder landed 71 of 430 punches thats insane give the man his props both of them in fact for Wilder still going for broke right until the last round
