How Many PPV Buys Does The Rematch Do?

Let's say it takes place in Vegas next April, how many buys is this fight doing? Does it reach a million? Looking at the way this fight was talked about on twitter and other social media outlets, I'm guessing it had to do at least 300k-400k buys?

    Bump from last night.

Also, I think Fury legitimately became a household name in the states yesterday and a potential star.

Absolutely, but do you think it can crack a million buys if it happens in Vegas? I mean it may take place in the UK, but for argument sakes what if it takes place in Vegas or anywhere in the States?

a million? in 2018...that's a big number. But with Fury and Wilder promoting it...anything is possible I guess.

The rematch has to happen in UK and I see it breaking UK PPV record 2mil+ easy as Fury fan base has now grown beyond imaginable.

Then once Fury wins the fight vs AJ and Fury does twice as much maybe over 4mil and breaks all records in UK history.

People were saying this fight was a complete dud and yet come fight night it seemed like it definitely caught a buzz and did solid numbers. They had over 17k in attendance and I'd guess this fight may have surpassed 300k buys.

I heard showtime say 400k but it's way too early so we'll see.

Yeah, it may take place in the UK, but what if it doesn't? Then how many buys does it do? I think it may do close to a million in the UK even at 4 am. And imagine if it does a million in the states or close to it? Just off PPV revenue that's over $50 million even with the distributors getting their cut.

I can't imagine they already know the number or could even take a reasonable guess yet. But if it does 400k then that is a HUGE win for all parties.
