I agreeI would have to agree with that. They basically scored the 1st few rounds a sweep for Fury just for avoiding Wilder's big punches, meanwhile he landed next to nothing. I thought it was hit and not get hit not just not get hit. You'd think the fight was taking place in England.
I had the same score the 3rd judge had in the end. 113-113 but couldn't agree with a 1-2 round edge in either direction. I did think Fury deserved the nod without the KD's but then again most judges would have waived the fight off the way he went down the 2nd time as well. That was just how Danny Jacobs got KO'ed by Pirog...
Fury must be the new Willie Pep. Fcuk landing punches, as long as you avoid punches, you win the round
And yes, Byrd didn't give Jacobs the opportunity to get up. Just waived the fight. Reis didn't make that same mistakeComment

Except I'm not so sure it would have been a mistake. Fury seemed to be out with his eyes open laying motionless until about 7-8, and it was the 2nd KD. 1 thing I know for sure had that been Wilder in England down like that, the fight gets waived off NO question.Comment

You judge the fight by just those two knockdowns? Lols.
Before the fight you boys had Wilder winning by KO now your boy Wilder got saved by the judges. In the rematch he loses.Comment

How many punches did Wilder land during those two knockdowns? Like 3? Now look at how many he landed total... and then check out Fury's landed punches. Now you will realize that Wilder landed many more punches and almost landed as many as Fury, not to mention he was the more active fighter and the ring aggressor..
And that's a robbery to you?Comment

Man, I've never seen such blatantly bias commentating in all my days. Paulie Malignaggi and Al Bernstein were pitiful not to mention Farhood with that ridiculous scorecard, what in the hell was he watching? From listening to that whole showtime crew, you would've thought that Furry was dominating every round which couldn't have been more further from the truth. That whole crew was completely detached from reality. Neither Fury nor Wilder did much of anything but to Wilder's credit he did get 2 vicious KDs. It seems the one who got an early Christmas gift here was Fury. You know things have gone south when the guy (Fury) gets more credit for getting up from a near decapitation than the guy who nearly decapitated him. How does that work?
Well, all in all, a good night of boxing but a robbery? I don't think so.Comment
