Hurd wanted to show us he could "box" this fight. A non threatening club fighter with no pop was teeing off on him as he showed us his "boxing skill". Then in embarrassment Hurd charged forward like a face first brawler and knocked out the can put in front of him to make him shine. Yes he will absolutely take another fight instead of Charlo. No doubt about that. How dare showtime call this guy the #1 at 154. Charlo is clearly the best in the division and Hurd is not running to him, he is running away from mighty Charlo!

Yeah but I knew going into that fight that Lara struggled with pressure guys like Angulo and I knew Hurd was a bigger fresher version of that. Charlo is no Lara. He is more capable of inflicting severe bodily harm to face first Hurd than Lara. I knew Lara wouldn't stop Hurd, but Charlo likely drops him and gives him a severe beating. Hurd don't want it. Let him keep gettin those little surgeries and tune ups because Charlo is the best there is at 54 and Hurd ain't ready for that smoke.
