Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder: Stats & Stakes

When 2018 began, the question still lingered: when would Deontay Wilder step up his competition? No one is asking that as the end of the year draws near. In March, he quieted doubters in what remains one of the year's best fights. Falling behind early, Wilder dropped Ortiz in the fifth, survived a hellish assault in the seventh, and put Ortiz away in round ten. As good as Ortiz was for long stretches of the fight, Wilder's heart proved even better. So did his power.

I'll be rooting for Fury, just think in a 12 round fight he's going get clipped bad, can see him getting up but the ref having step in and stop it if Wilder jumps on him.

I see Fury hurting Wilder a bit more than some expect on the way to a clear decision thats abit boring and some on here will call a robbery.

What makes you think Fury is going to get a decision in the States against Wilder? I actually see Fury winning a clear decision but getting robbed on the scorecards as a huge possibility. Many on here will push a BS narrative justifying the robbery like usual.

Wilder is so grossly overrated. Honestly has me CTFU

Dude has one relevant KO against a 50 y/o opponent who gassed himself and got sloppy throwing defense to the wind.

Otherwise Wilder hasn't hurt a relevant fighter.

Remember that guy Golovkin? Where did his "post on of a jab" or "power in both hands" go against Ca$hnelo??? NOWHERE. They were overhyped from the start.

Fury UD and might even hurt Wilder along the way
