He will be faster. That's good. But being that light he won't think he can beat fury. He won't be able to absorb too many blows.

Lighter and faster doesn't mean much. Can you outbox the other guy if you're willing to compromise your heavy hands?

No heavy hands means no knockout. No knockout means you need to outbox your opponent. Not sure Wilder can do that.

For a guy his height he looks much bigger. Then again he has the legs of a baby deer.

Didn't hurt him in the Ortiz fight. Guy has probably been gearing up his cardio to crazy levels knowing Fury wants to go after a points victory. I think this is bad news for Fury.

Punches like a 400 pounder so it’s not like it matters. Fury only has a 2 or so inch reach advantage but is slower so if Fury can hit him, Fury is also in danger..and Wilder has been in the game all along and has been improving while Fury was out im retirement having a crisis. It’s been said that once you lose it you never really get it back...so lets see how good Wilder really is.

Sure, Wilder is much lighter but it benefits him more to fight at a natural weight than purposely pack on tons muscle just for the sake of absorbing more punishment. He needs to be as fast as he possibly can to unload that cannon against guys who might be a little bigger and a litte more skilled. He puts so much into his shots that being much bigger would exhaust him quickly.

He had no problem dropping iron-chinned Ortiz thrice at 214. I doubt two less pounds will have any affect on his power.

Now if Fury tries to maul him, and tie him up, and lean on him, his leaner frame may get tired quicker.

I think it's good because it seems to be a comfortable weight for him to perform at. I guess it could be detrimental if it's an inside rough fight, and Fury could tire him out, but Wilder seems pretty good at catching opponents that move towards him, so I don't think Fury will risk the fight with that strategy.

For a guy as clever as Fury I think it'll be good early to pick the spots Wilder wants the fight to happen at under favorable terms for him, but bad late when Fury is leaning on you & using his size to try to wear you down quicker. So the shorter the fight is the better the 40lbs lighter situation works out for Wilder.

One thing I am curious about is how the speed aspect plays in this fight. Wilder might be quicker, but he's awkward & Fury ain't exactly slow, but he's pinpoint with great feet specifically for a guy his size.

There is definitely some variance with this fight due to Wilder's power & Fury's ring IQ. Both seems like huge edges for each guy so if Wilder is better at putting his power on Fury or Fury is better at putting his IQ on Wilder is gonna decide this fight, but even then I think there specific edge is so great a momentary lapse by one guy in the other guys area of expertise could end the fight.

And randomly definitely feeling like this fight is gonna be a definitive winner cuz someone is getting stopped or quitting tomorrow I feel like. Or this is gonna be a fight of the year cuz the intensity with these two is highly likely to burn one of them or produce a great high level competitive fight.

                  I can't wait.

I think it's very good. Athleticism and speed will be key. Fury won't know what hit him.
