Fury looked in same shape as he did against Pianeta and we all saw how bad he looked.

Fury can't punch and he's been put down by cruiserweights/small heavyweightes before (Cunningham, Pajkic). Wilder must not see the need to carry the extra weight.

I was thinking more of in the clinch rather than punch power. Fury can punch when he wants to although he clearly doesn't hit as hard as wilder.

You could be right, Wilder looked very calm whilst Fury was jumping about like a ball of nervous energy.

40lbs is a big weight difference, but I’m not sure Fury looked in as good shape as I expected.

Fury is actually in ok shape. He never looks ripped. He just has a lot of excess skin because of the huge weight loss in a short space of time. Without that excess skin, he would look much better,

Nah, Fury is a proud man with a big ego. He wouldn't take this fight if he didn't think he could win. I'm sure Fury truly believes he'll be victorious. He looks at Wilder - a man who can punch but itsn't on his level as far as skills. In Fury's mind he'll outbox Wilder easily.
