Comments Thread For: Wilder: If It's a Great Fight, And Fans Want It, Rematch is Possible

DEONTAY WILDER has labelled Anthony Joshua a coward ahead of his heavyweight showdown with Tyson Fury. The WBC heavyweight champion goaded the WBA, IBF, IBO and WBO title holder as he prepares to face Fury at Staples Center in LA in the early hours of Sunday morning.

      Just gave away the plan?
Makes sense, maybe they both figure AJ won't fight them, so just keep fighting each other ad nauseum.

There is a rematch clause if Fury wins.

Should Wilder win, he is not mandated to give rematch.

Chance of a great fight is near zero, the styles and past records say. I suspect fury has some form of rematch clause on a loss it maybe if it goes to points.

Not so sure about that. It hasn't been spoken 100% but Tyson and Frank have both made comments when asked about a rematch clause both ways "we have negotiated a good deal".

I believe Fury also has a rematch clause in place..... Wilder was so desperate for a big fight he had to agree.

i amazed all these keyboard warriors slagging of Tyson Fury now the fight is close talking about rematch.

Everybody has woken and realised this is what is going Tyson Fury loses a decision that people will never forgot. Holyfield vs Lewis1 springs to mind.

If fury beats WIlder convincingly, wilder shouldnt want a rematch. Wilder can go for Josh.
If wilder beats Fury, then he can give fury rematch in uk in return. But he can fight Josh first before giving fury rematch.
