Fury asks for weigh-in face-off to be cancelled

Fury apologised for both his and Wilder’s behaviour at Wednesday’s ill-tempered press conference and feels there should be no face-off on Friday in order to avoid a full-blown punch up before Saturday’s event

Fury said: “He’s lucky I did not take his teeth out, I could smell his breath and feel the spit hitting me when he was screaming all that rubbish.

“I was calm but I was thinking about hitting him with a left hook and headbutting him but I knew that is what he wanted.

Well this is what Fury said:

“There should be no face-off at the weigh-in and if it comes to fisticuffs then let’s have it.

“I will not wait until Saturday if he gets in my face before.”

He doesnt want anything happening at the weigh in which threatens the fight. The NSAC has already threatened to with hold purses.

Personally I think its all a stunt to sell a fight no one cares for.

That he did. But maybe the regs require both to shave all or most of their beards?

No one cares for? Not sure which planet you're from mate lol. Everyone I know is hyped for this, even the casuals.

As for the rest of your post, I agree. Tyson's selling the fight well.

              Good stunt.

Get the fence up like they had for Chisora/Haye. Casuals love that stuff.

Is a bit cringe when grown men say words like shook though. Tyson Fury is not gonna be afraid of a fight is he? His whole culture is built around it.

From a fans perspective I don’t mind stuff like this if it puts a few more quid in the fighter’s pocket.

I agree with Fury, I wouldn't want to be in close proximity with a dude who would like to get pregnant if a procedure allowed it. Wilder is a certified weirdo, wouldn't want to be around him.
