I expect Wilder-Fury to do 250-300K buys in the U.S. and UK.

    U.S.:
    250K * $75 = $18.75M

    300K * $75 = $22.5M

    UK:
    250K * $25 = $6.25M

    300K * $25 = $7.5M

    Total PPV revenue: $25-30M

Paying £20 doesn't seem so bad in comparison. I still even think thats alot.

...The consensus among industry insiders is that the floor for Wilder-Fury buys in the U.S. is around 250,000.
If Wilder-Fury does 350,000 buys in the U.S., it’d be considered very successful...
Dream on, baby! This "fight" will do cca. 100.000 (+-10.000) PPV buys. It will flop. Same goes for ticket sales.

Distributors such as Showtime earn approximately 10 percent of the 50 percent of pay-per-view revenue that’s left after cable and satellite providers take their 50 percent off the top of those $75 buys.
So "fighters" only get cca. 45% of the total PPV revenue. Someone will be very disappointed.

I hope it does well because neither want to accept a lot less payment than AJ will get, and Hearn will not offer either a favourable split if they do not justify it with their own PPV buys/Gates.
In this case, only US PPV numbers count cuz UK is already covered by Joshua. No one sells better in the UK than him.

I'm sorry, but Wilder vs Fury won't do even close to 250K in the US. More likely 100K. And only around 45% of the total PPV revenue in the US goes to the fighters.

I think they're pricing themselves out and it seems very short sighted as the more people watch it, the more people talk about it, them more people buy next time (if it was a good enough event).
I said this exact same thing yesterday to another poster. The argument that if they sold one PPV at $75 (Current rate), oppose to selling 3 PPV at $25 might make sense, but you have more chance selling more PPV at the lower rates than at the higher rate. At the lower rate you have a better chance at convincing the undecided to buy it and watch it alone, rather people looking for a stream. I really do think they miss a chance here with this fight at 65 dollars standard view.

They don't get that after their trainers/promoter and 4 managers take their cut.
