Danny by landslide. this is not up for debate. two underdog wins vs Khan and prime Matthysse puts him over the top. I'm sure 140lb Khan beats every Crawford opponent during his reign.
Crawford technically accomplished more but that has to do with 140 being a barren wasteland when Crawford was in it and the fact he had the backing of TR who could get Crawford the chance to fight for all 4 straps. Something Danny couldn’t do because when he was in the division Provodnikov held the WBO and Arum wouldn’t have made that fight and give Garcia a chance to have a strap Arum basically controls. And I guess if you want To get technical the WBA wasn’t up for grabs when Lucas blitzed through Lamont for whatever reason
Just compare the names and the wins and accomplishments of the fighters Danny fought and the lack there of that Crawford fought
Postol took that money and agreed to step aside, Danny has fought way more dangerous fighters than Postol
Like who? He lost to Thurman and Porter at 147. He robbed Herrera and went life and death with a shot Zab Judah. His best win at 140 was Matthysee who is no better than Postol. What makes knocking out Khan so impressive when Presscott did that **** way before and in more impressive fashion?

Hindsight is 50-50. Thurman, Porter, Khan, Matthysse were all way more challenging fights when Danny fought them than Postol would have been.
Postol is a good fighter and would have given Danny problems with his build and style, but Danny took on a fight that paid more in Peterson and moved up in weight to fight better fighters than Postol.
It's a good question.
Many are saying Danny Garcia , but how high did his run at 140 put him in the p4p consideration? Because wasn't Crawford's run at 40 what Put him on there?
