We went from HBO vs. Showtime to PBC vs. Top Rank vs. DAZN. It's spread even thinner now. Fans are the biggest losers in the end.

Its the nature over all of television. It use to be the big 3 networks to big 3+fox now they have to compete with netflix,Hulu and amazon prime plus all the other premiere tier channels now.

This isn't just limited to boxing, everyone wants to have their piece of that television pie now because that is where the money has always been.

Garcia only made $1.2M for the Porter fight, which was a big fight. Wilder-Fury PPV purses just came out (which is a bigger fight than Crawford-Garcia) and they're making $4M and $3M respectively. Danny Garcia won't get $3M anywhere else.

The leverage is still leverage doe. I think with TR not having anything for Bud any potential opponent can still fleece TR to the point of a 50/50 split or lions share cut with that reality.

Not gonna make any fans with that tactic, but lets not act like Arum & others take advantage of similar situations when the opportunity prevents itself.

Here's the thang Skip, Haymon's official title is advisor. He specifically avoids being an official manager or promoter in order to get around the Ali Act.
His fighters have managers and promoters, or are self promoted.
It's pretty clear in Garcia's case that his father is assuming the "manager's" role.
So why is it unacceptable to call Angel Garcia and have him seek Haymon's "advice" on the matter?

If he really wants the Spence fight he should be making some noise about it now so he can be next in line after Garcia.
