Asking because I need to make a prediction here soon, and I haven't closely followed the division like I have the others.
Which Heavyweight is a skilled in-fighter?

Aj has a devastating and REALLY short inside uppercut. Considering his size, he needs almost no space and he has a way of maneuvering you into it. Not sure if any top guys are particularly great inside fighters though. Maybe Chisora? I dunno. -

I had Joshua getting absolutely outworked in the pocket by at least two opponents. When he's at range he's dangerous. He was in the pocket against Parker when he took that time out and ripped the tape.Comment

We have to talk at the top though. He’s great at mid-long range against guys smaller than him but he’s deceptive inside. In fact, he often bombs his way inside and will get forehead to forehead with guys and land a sweet short left hook he has and uppercuts. It’s how he put Takam in trouble and got the stop, it’s how he finished Whyte, it’s what led to him stopping Wlad, etc.
Sure, guys like Povetkin can punch their way in and do work, but he also landed a few big shots inside.
He’s not a worker inside but he has a deceptively short inside game considering the size and often relishes being inside and goes out of his way to close distance.Last edited by NearHypnos; 11-29-2018, 04:00 PM.Comment
