i dont think it was fixed, but i was rather suprised to see mayorga get dropped so easily. that first left landed clean, but knowing how tough mayorga is, i was suprised to see him crumple to the mat just like that.

i dont think it was fixed, but it seemed like de la hoya won a little too easily. i know de la hoya is THAT good, but i just dont know.

Anybody who says this was a fixed fight either did not see the fight or knows nothing about boxing. Just watch the first round of the fight and watch the punched that downed Mayorga on slow motion. I watched it over and over and over in disbelief ... but it was one of those perfect punches coming straight out of a miss. After that punch Mayorga was not @ 100%. Same goes with the Tito fight, after he exposed his chin he was never again 100%.
