Why isn't Wilder more popular among blacks?

Similar to how Mayweather is with them, or Canelo with Mexicans, Pac-Man with filipinos.

I'd say among black american athletes he's probably behind every 6th man on the bench on all the NBA teams among support among blacks.

Why doesn't he have the support in his own community?

Idk about all this “black” stuff but Floyd and Manny are household names and are very popular with everybody and Canelo is getting close.

Although Wilder is undefeated and the WBC Heavyweight Champion, he hasn’t came anywhere close to attaining that level of popularity yet period.

Has to do with poor promotion by his managers and promoters

Lack of promotion big time, early on in his career he was the bronze medalist and for a good two or three years after the olympics he was forgotten, signed to golden boy fighting obscure places against guys paid to take a dive with no TV exposure.

not even fighting on ESPN it was strange that HURT him

Also no talk shows, no nothing, no commercials, Deontay should be a huge star since he is an American heavyweight KO artists, this guy has a high KO ratio, Mike Tyson, Rid**** Bowe, Evander were all popular in America

He wasn't marketed properly is why under promoted.

Simple, could of made himself a name when Vitali was active yet he ducked that K Bro waited till he retired to go for the WBC belt. Then he could of challenged Wlad but chose to duck and instead Fury took it from Wlad.

Notice a pattern here? Yet people ask why he isn't popular. Say what you want about Mayweather fighting style (was never a fan of Defensive Money may was a fan of Younger PBF) but he fought the best out their.

My opinion is that he doesn't have an attractive/interesting/intriduing personality.

                  He's a pretty dumb guy.
