RJJ is a ****ing legend. People say he's slurring his speech and not all with it, but he's witty, lucid, coherent and articulate here. I also love how he always has time for his fans and you can tell he never feels burdened, he loves talking to them.
Roy Jones responds to Michael B Jordan..

What was so good about it? It’s a lame story that everyone knew the outcome before even watching it.Comment

A lot of actors hire pro boxers to help prepare them for roles. I'm sure when Ward was working with Jordan, he was pulling his punches and basically just toying with him to teach him proper form, footwork, etc. There is no way Jordan would have held his own in there with Ward if they were having a real sparring session. No way Jordan would survive in a real fight with Roy.
Stallone got seriously hurt while sparring Dolph in a scene for Rocky IV, got hit in the heart and collapsed. Tony Zale was supposed to be in the Graziano movie "Somebody Up There Likes Me", but Paul Newman got a little cute in the ring and Zale dropped him with a body shot to show him who was boss. They fired Zale for a look-a-like. Russell Crowe suffered a concussion and some cracked teeth sparring for real for Cinderella Man.Comment

No the first one was awesome. Great fight scenes. Stallone should have gotten the Oscar. He really nailed that version of Rocky.
This one just felt rushed. Coogler not being involved really hurt it. The cameos were cool and Dolph Lundgren was good. But this was a weak Rocky movie. Micheal B Jordan looks the part and did well with what he was given but this one under delivered big time.Comment
