Well it was just one round, but here goes.

Bell rings. We come out and touch gloves. He's a southpaw, and despite his footspeed he pretty much stays in front of me and does the stalking. His right hand is low, so I pop a jab over it and catch him in the face. I'm moving my head trying not to stay in one spot. I'm very relaxed...then he catches me with a straight left right on the button. I land a jab over his low right again. I feint a jab this time and sling a straight right to the body. I do that several times in the round.

He gets inside a couple times and bounces some good combos off my dome. One time he really got me with an uppercut. Stunned me a bit with that shot. I don't think I saw it coming. He asks if I'm alright and I say yeah, and soon after the round is over.

      Basically that's what I remember.

Yeah I did actually. He told me I was telegraphing my right hand too much.

Like i said, sounds like you learned somthing. But now that you know he can see your right hand coming, next time you sparr or you are sparring with Gainer, faint with the right, and then shoot out your fastest punch with your left then combos. When i noticed my opponet see my punchs, i'd faint and get them every time.

Smoke's gotta sweet left, no question about it. He throws it very fast too. Remember when he came down to fight my boy Daniel Seda, about 1 min into the 1st rd, dropped my boy with a left hand he never saw. Fight was stopped on an unintentional head butt which cut Smoke on his eyebrow. I thought Smoke was gonna KO my boy if that fight wasn't stopped. U don't get a chance to spar with a guy like that every day.
