I refuse to see it, as it is all politics. Don't care if he is a Sikh, Hindu or whatever, if the rules say no beard, then take up MMA , not boxing. I'm all for freedom of thought, expression, ideas, religion, etc. but if you decide to become a pro boxer and think that the principles of your religion should supersede rules and regulations of a pro sport you want to participate in, you are either incredible naive, ignorant or such a fanatical worshiper that you incorrectly feel that your indoctrinated beliefs take precedent over a totally secular activity.

As a Sikh, i have to say that this is bs. A true sikh doesnt need a beard or a turban. Its in his heart. Sikhism is about serving and helping those in need, and believing that there is only one race, the human race. this extra stuff is very backward and not what religion is truly about.
