I don't care what ggg did. Stop deflecting from Canelo by bringing up ggg. And for the record are you aware how Canelo got his first world title? It's one of the biggest jokes that's ever happened in boxing. He ifught an unranked welter weight at a catch weight for a 154 point title.

Nothing you wrote changes the fact that the Fielding fight is a cynical mismatch. Fielding has only fought one world class fighter, and got stopped in one round.He's domestic level, and not even top four in the UK. Say what you like about anyone else, but dont pretend this isnt a joke fight. Its only your own credibility on the line.

I look at it as a stay busy fight with an opportunity to market it as a world title fight in. 3rd division. I look at things for what they really are.

I'll tell you this much, its a much much more interesting and credible fight than GGG fighting Vanes. Did you ***** this much when GGG ducked Derevyanchenko for Vanes?

Subtract the body punches from Canelo and Golovkin then then tell me who landed more head shots. Yes I realize body shots count. Like I said before jabs are scoring punches whether an observer wants to acknowledge that it not its up to them. Are jabs as hard as power punches? Depends who is throwing either punch and the effect the punch has. Boxers throwing power punches late in a fight generally don't generate as much power as in the fight early. Now this is just my opinion but a jab doesn't taper off in power as much as a power punch because if the fighter steps into it it takes less energy to throw. To me Canelo appeared to be pushing his punches more than Golovkin in the later rounds Again, I used the Compubox stats, and gave both fighters 2 points for each power punch landed and one point for each jab. Scoring that way by rounds it turned out as I suspected Golovkin won a close fight.I don't agree that Canelo fought when he wanted and was in control of the fight overall. There were plenty of times that Canelo backed off and had to parry Golovkin coming forwards. Anyway it was a great fight. I thought G won when I saw it and later when I reviewed it.

I didnt look at it that way but thats basically what he said??? He wants to judge the fight just off jabs and ignore any pysical signs of damage as well.

was this article focused on ggg chasing greatness? Have I ever referred to ggg as great? I'm addressing the article so there's nothing hypocritical about it.
