These are two of my all time fav fighters, seen that fight a zillion times. Vargas was just as guilty of low blows, guess Nady had a soft spot for him. Tito decked him 5 times, how can anyone argue Tito did most damage there? Vargas came back to win a championship, his heart was never the same thou.

I thought the fight was over in the first against Tito. Feroz actually showed a lot of heart in that fight, so he didn't look bad. He was only a shell of his old self against Shane, and while competitive, he didn't have a shot of winning. Therefore it was the " BAD BLOOD " TKO with DLH and the steroid use that
made him look bad. Bottom line, he was a great young fighter but was thrown in with the best early and he's paying for it now.

i would say mosley beat him the worst just because ... vargas face looked horrible ...and i think is mosley had more time , he would have knocked vargas out with a big shot

Everybody knows Vargas's toughest fight was Felix Trinidad. Vargas was at his strongest when he fought Tito and that fight changed his career. They should have stopped that fight after the first knockdown in the 12th. He left a piece of himself in the ring that night. He was never the same after that fight.

He was coming back in the fight with Mosely when they stopped it but you'll see in there next fight he will knock Mosely out. Mosely never even gave him a beating, that fight was very close. The grotesque swelling in Vargas's was caused by a thumb not a punch.

the tito fight was a very good scrap. the mosley fight was pretty close. but nobody beat vargas as badly as oscar did IMO.
