All boxers appearing on Duco Events promotions will now undergo MRI brain scans as part of the pre-fight medical screening process. Duco Events has previously required fighters to undergo a mandatory CT scan to gain medical clearance to enter the ring. In a first for boxing in New Zealand, the company will now instead use MRI scanning for all fighters for all future promotions.

This is so ****** & obviously an example of knee jerk reactions in Boxing. Requiring boxers to undergo mri radiation before every fight is the ******est,most dangerous cancer causing thing these clowns have come up with. If a fighter fights 3x,or god forbid 4x a yr as used to be the norm. then they would be highly increasing their chance of cancers.
