This sucks. I was hoping this would happen just because it would have been a fun watch. I know a lot of people crap on chavez Jr. but anybody can have a resurgence at any point. He just has a lot of personal issues that he needs to sort out. Hopefully he gets it together and if he continues to box good, if not it's all good so long as he's doing better.

According to Chavez SR., Junior missed a drug test appointment, it was rescheduled for a few days later and in between they got a call that the fight was cancelled.

Edit: So I'm not clear if SR. is saying it was a drug test or medical test.
