Comments Thread For: Errol Spence Sought Ray Leonard as Advisor Pre-Haymon

    SRL looked good against ATG.

Spence looked average against a weight drained and broken Kell Brook - who is no ATG and not even a HOF...

Theres levels to this and Spence is just a boy in a man's game

U sound foolish. If spence is a boy in boxing, who the hell are the men? You jokers throw a lot of verbal combinations on the keyboard, u must have some strong ass fingertips

Under any other promoter, Spence may have been a PPV star already. The problem is not Haymon, the problem is that PBC fighters sit on the shelf way to much and for the most part they fight bums coming off of the shelf ( Charlos being an example)

Hmmm...My secretary never gave me any videos & she normally brings everything to my attention, especially anything on young & upcoming fighters.

Going with Al was a better choice as far as business, but I would still bring Ray in as an advisor to the corner. Spence needs to work on his footwork. If not, Crawford will beat him. Spence beats everyone else at 147, but that straight ahead style will not be enough to beat Crawford, who is faster and more versatile. Ray can add more to his arsenal and teach him to be more mobile in his attack.
