Dmitry Bivol retained his light heavyweight belt Saturday night with a unanimous decision victory over former WBC/IBO champion Jean Pascal. The unbeaten Russian boxer won by scores of 119-109 on two cards and 117-111 on the third in the bout at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's Etess Arena.

If this coach knew anything, he would know Bivol was at a 7 pound weight disadvantage in the ring, and that that was to blame for him not finishing Pascal. This coach should be telling Bivol to move down to 168 or put on more weight at 175, not telling him to take more risks when he's at a huge weight disadvantage in the ring. That will just get him hurt.

Pascal is durable and cagey. Bivol controlled the entire fight. Was it spectacular? No. It was a good workmanlike performance though.

Yes and to bums too. When do you start watching boxing? Mayweather and ward did that to journeyman and bums much worse than pascal. Boring ass ud's with potshots here and there.
